This is an antique print advertisement from PUCK Magazine, an old political humor magazine.
Puck was the first successful humor magazine in the United States consisting of political satire expressed in colorful cartoons and caricatures that focused on the major, mostly political, issues of the day. It was published from 1871 until 1918. Puck was quite popular in its day, and is very popular among political cartoon collectors today. This series of PUCK ads are beautifully illustrated and provide an historical picture of the state of life and politics in 1891.

This print is over 130 years old and guaranteed to be original. It’s an authentic old print ad from the aforementioned publication, and not a modern reproduction.
The print advertisement is 9" x 12 1/4" with nice large margins. Matted it measure 12" x 16", which is a standard size, so custom framing is NOT required. Standard frames are readily available.
ABOUT THE MATS
