    Vintage Nils Olsson Carved Wooden Red Dala Horse Akta Dalahemslojd Sweden 10”.
    Beautiful Red/Orange wooden horse with hand painted multicolored designs. In 1928 brothers Nils and Jannes Olsson took up the old handcraft of carving the Dala horses. Nils was 15, Jannes 13 years old. Since then the genuine Dala horses have been made in their workshop.
    Has been well maintained, and there are no imperfections or damages to any part of the horse. Has been in my family since it was purchased by my grandparents on a trip to Sweden.
