    Christ Among Men Object Lessons in Personal Work. By James McConaughy.
    Small hardcover, burgundy pebbled cloth. Approx. 6" x 4". In near fine condition. Published by YMCA (International Committee of Young Men's Christian Association) in New York in 1894. McConaughy, a minister, was an official in the YMCA. His son, James L. McConaughy (1887-1948, was one of several governors of Connecticut in the first half of the twentieth century who came from an academic background.
    The "Y" was founded in London in 1844 by Sir George Williams (1821-1905). He is the great-great-grandfather of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. A nice bit of ephemera over 100 years old in near fine condition.
